Mojca Avšič is the director of marketing and user experience at Petrol. Prior to joining Petrol, Mojca Avšič took care of the strategic marketing of the NLB Group from August 2019. She started her career at Mercator, where she worked, among other things, as the Executive Director for Marketing and Development at the group level. In Droga Kolinska (part of Atlantic Grupa), she led research and development in the strategic business area of Delicatessen Spreads. She then continued her career as director of mass market marketing at Telekom Slovenije.
Mojca is goal-oriented in achieving concrete results, she knows how to combine the potential of many colleagues and motivate them, as she has unstoppable energy, expertise and vision. She also gained experience in many professional fields, especially in marketing: she was a member of the Organizing Committee of SOF and president of Effie Slovenia 2016. For two consecutive terms she was a member of the Board of the Association of Advertisers, which she chaired in 2020/2021. She was also a member of the Board of Directors of SOZ in the term 2014/2017. She participated in numerous professional trainings, as a listener and also as an active lecturer both in Slovenia and in the region. In 2011, the Marketing Association of Slovenia awarded her the title of Marketing Director of the Year.
