Doc. dr. Miha Dvojmoč received his PhD in law in 2013. He began his career as an employee of a private security company and then continued at the Inspectorate of the City of Ljubljana. At his request he moved back to the private sector as director of a business unit for major security company, where he worked as security manager and responsible person for carrying out the most demanding security projects. He also served at the Ministry of the Interior as a senior consultant in the field of private security, and is currently an assistant professor at the Faculty of Criminal Justice and Security, University of Maribor and for the third time president of the Detectives Chamber of Slovenia.

In the field of security and safety of information and personal data, it cooperates with many reputable public and private sector entities.

Data security as well as personal data is an integral part of all areas of operation, so dr. Miha Dvojmoč since 2008 has been closely monitoring global trends in the field of global and national security, private security, detective work, information security, corporate security, intelligence and data protection.

Dr. Miha Dvojmoč is active in research in the field of security, with an emphasis on Integral Corporate Security and Corporate Intelligence, and in the fields of private security, detective work and non-state public oversight institutions – e.g. municipal police, and misdemeanor law.

His bibliography includes original scientific articles, review scientific articles, professional articles, papers at conferences, both scientific and professional. His bibliography shows exceptional professional activity. Both scientific production and professional activity prove that doc. dr. Miha Dvojmoč to turned scientific achievements into everyday activity. Dr. Miha Dvojmoč is the author of numerous security plans, studies, as well as the author or co-author of several expert opinions, with which he especially proves the strong connection between scientific and professional activity. He is also a reviewer for a journal that is described at Faculty of Criminal Justice and Security as an important journal in the field of security sciences.
